Psychotherapy

Every person is different, and each issue that you bring may call for a different solution. I am trained to deliver four different forms of psychotherapy, and I will tailor my approach to specifically address the issues that you would like to work on.

Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP)

Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy is a highly effective approach developed to resolve long standing issues. It is well researched and proven to be effective across a wide range of problems.

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

Psychodynamic psychotherapy aims to uncover unconscious thoughts and feelings, including exploring your past in order to shed new light on your present problems.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy focuses on the link between your thoughts and your behaviour. This form of therapy teaches useful techniques to influence your thinking and therefore your feelings and behaviours.

Mentalisation-Based Treatment (MBT)

Mentalisation-Based Treatment is a form of psychotherapy that helps you to think about how you think. This approach can help to make sense of feelings and thoughts, and link theses to your behaviour.

Reduced Fees

I also offer time-limited psychotherapy sessions to psychology and psychotherapy trainees at a reduced fee rate. Please get in touch to find out more.
