Dr Kim works in a collaborative and goal-focused way, drawing on psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches alongside other evidence-based therapies. She also has a specialist interest in working with athletes, drawing on her passion for outdoor pursuits and performance psychology.

What kinds of difficulties does Dr Kim work with?
Kimberley has a particular interest in working with athletes, coaches, teams and sporting organisations. She supports people with difficulties linked to performance pressure, injury, retirement, competition, success and failure, separation from sport, identity, and the coach-athlete relationship. Her work is informed by an understanding that psychological distress is not weakness; when approached carefully, difficult experiences can strengthen resilience, self-understanding and performance, while also supporting a fuller life beyond sport.
